(Clementine etc.) Very large pear shaped fruit with greenish yellow skin, tinged with brown in the sun.
Flesh yellow, red in the centre, tolerably rich and sweet.
Hardier than most and can be grown as a freestanding tree in a sheltered spot. Has enormous 'hand' shaped leaves.

Easy to force in pots. A reliable early abundant variety. This cultivar was rescued from 'Rivers Nursery' when it was demolished for developement, a superior form with quality fruit.1ltr pot size.
