(Brown Naples. Fleur de rouge. etc.) The large pear shaped fruit are brown with occasional purple tinge.
Sugary rich flesh at centre. Excellent on garden walls or in a greenhouse.
Easy to force in pots. A reliable early abundant variety. This cultivar was rescued from 'Rivers Nursery' when it was demolished for developement, a superior form with quality fruit.1ltr pot size.

Acquired from South Africa, but apparently a French variety, this has green to yellowish brown skinned figs with a touch of violet.
The flesh is amber to red. The foliage is dramatic with very large leaves. Greenhouse culture for fruiting or can be used as a dramatic garden feature.
