Peaches can be grown in the Garden on walls fan trained, as bush trees, in pots, or in the greenhouse border .They will produce superb quality fruit, lime is important and a well drained soil is essential. Peach Cardinal - Indian Blood Peach. Akin to a blood orange , this variety has distinctive flavour, and very attractive fruit. Ripening late, definitely for the collector and best grown in a greenhouse.

A large handsome peach raised by a nurseryman from Exeter in the 19th C. Greenish yellow skin with a dull red cheek on the sunny side mottled with dark red. The flesh is white, rich melting and very juicy. Superb flavour.

Nectarine Nectarella


A dwarf tree with sweet juicy fruits, that will set so well they need thinning to reach full size. Supplied as a 3ft standard that will grow to 3-4ft in diameter. When grown in a pot which can be moved into the greenhouse in winter to avoid peach leaf curl. Delicious flavour. Full sized fruits when thinned.
