Clivia striata Clivia striata

A strap leaved perennial ,glossy dark green leaves with varied stripes of cream and yellow, large umbells of orange flowers, quite rare in cultivation. A native of South Africa, growing in coastal forests in deep shade. Flowering in spring in the Uk. Prefers a leafy or sandy soil with free drainage , resting in summer. Liquid feed regularly and keep pot bound for best flowering. Our plants are from divisions.
