Black currant Ebony

A high yielding blackcurrant with a suprising sweet flavour.

The fruit is large, often twice the size of other varieties, and when ripe it is easily sweet enough to eat without sugar. Ebony blackcurrants freeze extremely well. Cropping is from early July onwards.
