Heliotrope are famous from the Victorian heyday of conservatory gardening. A simple and delightful plant to grow a Heliotrope can flower nearly all year. Heliotropes like free draining soil- J.I no 2 is ideal ,the pots should be on the small side, and Heliotropes like regular feeding with a good potash fertilizer and every so often as the Heliotrope flowers fade, prune them lightly and they will be flowering again in a few weeks.
There are many varieties of heliotrope, we have been collecting the for many years and select varieties for their scent and shape.
