Duo Apple Tree - Discovery & Red Falstaff
A dual cordon apple tree grafted twice to create an easy to manage dwarf tree for smaller gardens or for growing in pots on the terrace.
Very simple to prune and look after, the two varieties have been chosen to cross-polinate each other and cropping is early for Discovery and later for the Red Falstaff.
The tree supplied is approximately 4-5 ft tall, bare root and with several spurs formed. Rootstock M9
Discovery - RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Bright red flush, with crisp and juicy flesh, white with a pink tinge at the centre. Excellent dessert apple, disease resistant.
Ripens August, best eaten fresh off the tree as it keeps for only a few weeks. Pollination group 3.
