Duo cordon apple tree - Herefordshire Russet on Cox.
A specially grafted tree to give two varieties on one cordon, each pollinating the other. The tree will remain as a cordon with simple pruning, no complicated family branches to consider, taking up little space in the garden or in a pot on the patio.
Herefordshire Russet has a rich aromatic flavour, winning taste testings around the country. Picking in early October with storage until late January. The tree sets a heavy crop of medium size fruit.
Cox's Orange Pippin is a well-known variety often described as the finest apple in the world. Orange flushed over greenish yellow with cream flesh.
The tree supplied is bare root, 4-5 ft tall with several spurs formed.
