Shipping and Returns

Click and Collect - This is available by appointment. Purchase the trees etc via the website and call us to arrange a time to collect ( Friday or Saturday am.) Please phone to book on 01986 895555.

Delivery Schedule - Orders are normally shipped on a Tuesday or Wednesday where possible, although we can ship any day you require.During the current bare root season we are packing every day.

We will not ship during severe weather. Other exceptions are bare root trees that may need lifting and conditions such as severe road delays - ice -snow - etc.

24 hr delivery by courier to Mainland UK (NB This is from time of despatch not time of order.)

 

Approximate guide to charges. (This will be calculated at checkout.)

An average plant or small vine - £6.95

2 trees or 3 vines etc - £9.25

More than 3 trees or vines - £15.00 Please Note - Orders over £100 shipping free.

Small orders under 1 kg are sent Royal Mail where possible £2.95 - 2-3 day service.

Next day before 12.00- £5.95 added per order.

Saturday delivery am - £26.50

Scottish Highlands and Islands - £16.50 - 2 day service

Northern Ireland - £22.50 - 2 day service

Eire - £22.50- 2 day service

Isle of Wight - add £6.25 ferry surcharge.

Isle of man - Delivery is not available - sorry.

Europe - poa - happy to send to all mainland EU by road freight, average cost £ 48.50 for up to 20 kg. At customer’s risk only as no insurance available.

 

We like a 'safe place' to leave parcel eg 'in garden shed' or 'behind bins'

 

Delivery -- We will deliver the Goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. Please be precise about where you would like the Goods left if you are out when we deliver. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the Goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions. We will aim to deliver within the quoted time frame but delivery times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, we will contact you to advise you that the delivery date will have to be extended.

Returns Policy - Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

Incorrect Goods - If we send you something you hadn't ordered and which was not a substitute item, please contact us within 7 days informing us of the problem. You can return it within 7 working days, unused, in its original packaging and you will not be charged.

Damaged In Transit - If your purchase is damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days informing us of the problem. You can return it within 28 days and either get a replacement or a refund. Please make sure you give us your order number and return the item in its original packaging.

Plants - If you receive a plant that is in bad condition when you take it out of the box, contact us immediately. We will then ask you to send us a photograph so that there is no doubt as to its condition on arrival with you, as opposed to what it looks like by the time you return it to us. Bear in mind that plants look different depending on what time of year it is. If you choose a nice deciduous tree in the winter, remember it's going to turn up looking pretty stick-like. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it, just that it's out of season and will perk up when the weather does. However, provided that you have contacted us within 7 days of receiving the defective plant we will be happy to arrange for a refund or replacement once we have received the pictures and determined the cause of the problem.

Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility. For your protection and peace of mind, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service to return things.
