Description
Apple Egremont Russet. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
This apple tree produces a sweet, firm, aromatic russet. The apples have a white flesh with a rich nutty flavour. The blossom on the tree is a good pollinator.
The fruit ripens in October - December and the apples taste great when eaten with cheese.
Pollination group 2. Partially self fertile.
Raised in Petworth, Sussex c.1872.
