Apricot Tree - Chinese

The chinese or 'Mormon' apricot (prunus mandshurica) is a very frost tolerant type, the blossom comes later than many.  The fruit is slightly smaller than most but plentiful and golden yellow in colour. 

Grafted onto St Julian A rootstock the trees are 4ft approx. It is generally a smaller growing tree.

Plant in good free-draining but not sandy soil, water well in the first few years and feed regularly.
