Asian Pear Tree - Shinseiki.

This 'Asian' or 'Nashi' pear tree has yellow fruits with a smooth skin, very prolific, setting huge crops which will need a little thinning to get the best from them. The fruit are crunchy to bite, aromatic with a very juicy flesh, quite unlike an English pear and very hardy in the UK.  The fruit keeps well in a cool place or in a fridge. These are not officially self fertile but we find they set a very good crop even without a pollinator, which can be any European pear.

The trees are supplied as bare root maidens in Autumn approximately 4-5ft
